I''m back, as I finally finished my hardware cooling upgrade, but...

I'm running the latest YAM code, with mmc-forum.com and tx-c21.mmc-pools.com, and receive work correctly, but after a while it cycles but receives no work, but shows no error in operation. Shutting down the miner and restarting resolves the issue... for a while. Am I seeing a networking issue, or... what?

On the other side... 8 cores at 5.8Ghz, oh, my! Well worth the trouble!

Hi, Delinquency!

Pool http://tx-c21.mmc-pools.com:8081/ shows that a current block value is 3.71935286
Is it normal? Yesterday block value was 2.86935285

Miners get paid fees when coins are transferred on the network. As the block-chain becomes more active, more coins will be transmitted, and miners will receive more profits.

On my Surface Pro 3, running the YAM client causes my OS to completely prevent DNS requests from happening.
When I set it down to three or two cores instead of four, the DNS requests start working.

In both the above situations, pings were working.

So you need to find a configuration set up that doesn't ruin your computer.

I've never had the problem before, and it seems to have resolved itself with no change on my part.

I use the Kaspersky IS Enterprise firewall, and have given YAM full access to the network. Now both my FX system and my Lenovo tablet (same i5 processor used in the Surface Pro 3) are both running fine. Weird.

What's happened to tx-c21.mmc-pools.com?
No ads or notice of closure was on forum!  >:(
I'm tired of it already.

Same for mmc-forums.com, also down.

This is why I keep a large number of pools in my configuration, I usually have a fallover.

Trying to do some load balancing here! I'm allocating more resources to the MySQL database that runs the forum and other services.
Mostly the tx-c21 node doesn't run any more p2pool servers.

Also a node that runs as a master-pool node for a portion of our p2pools are MIA... The DC must have some issues.

Servers at ca-w3r are back online and all services should be working now.

It seems that I have that issue on my Windows PC. I think YAM should be restarted every 24 hours to prevent errors.

The tablet is started manually, just runs over night. The FX machine, on the other hand, starts and stops YAM sessions at different levels throughout the day. A YAM session never runs longer than 8 hours. So long-run issues aren't the fault.

Anyway, I'm hoping to get a quad-core Haswell i5 built soon so I can have a pure mining machine. Remains to be seen, as funds are always tight.

Is there a problem without a pool?

What problem? Solo mining works.
