Hello,

Just as the title says, how can I do this? I am rather new to linux so a step-by-step tutorial would be appreciated!

First of all, you can download YAM on our website here .

Find your system's processor information using `cat /sys/procinfo`
Select the architecture of YAM that you fits your processor type.

Download the correct version of YAM, extract it, find the `yam` executable and CHMOD it so it has execute access. (chmod +x yam)
Then you just need to edit the yam-mmc.cfg file to adjust the pools and set your username as a wallet address. Most MMC pools accept your MMC address as the username.
Point your pool to a Mining Pool in our Mining Pools section:
I like using nano: "sudo su ; apt-get update; apt-get install nano -fy"
"nano yam-mmc.cfg" (Edit it there)

Once done, save, then run the YAM executable with: [yam -c yam-mmc.cfg]

On your Memorycoin Wallet, you should start receiving coins once your pool finds a block.

More information can be found in our novice tutorial for mining Memorycoin:
