Title: Some Progress
Post by: Delinquency on May 05, 2015, 04:29:01 AM
Hello all,

I'm currently in the process of getting finishing the server migrations and getting the old services back online.
The old Faucet and Wallet(with SSL) will be online shortly.

Also more pools will be coming back online. The server upkeep fee will be 1.5%.

Reply here if you would like any more information!

1.5% will be a mmc pools fee?

Yes,  1.5% of 2.86935286 is 0.0430402929 MMC.
It will help add more locations.

Delinquency, do you really think we need more pools?
Now there is only 3 active miners at 2 pools.

Hmm, I thought this pool was closed, because according to https://www.mmc-forums.com/index.php/topic,54.0.html we have only 2 pools.

I kept the pool open just because it was included as the default configuration under YAM releases.
Once I have a good base of pools online I can then contact yvg to update the yam-mmc.cfg default file under newest releases.

What do you mean? Why we can't use Yam?

Some people find it hard to use YAM, so I'm going to streamline YAM into an application that also uses YAM and allows you to  add/remove pools, apply priority, affinity, and RAM adjustments as well as test pings to the servers to find good latency.

But Yam's sources closed from public, isn't it? How can you change Yam?
Or it will be some kind of add-on?

I just include the YAM Executable. The correct version is downloaded after you choose your CPU system from a menu :)

Taking the fun out of writing a YAM config? Now I feel like I wasted my time becoming a YAM expert! LOL!

Re-structured the pool system and now adding a scalable system. They're 0% and adding a multitude of pools @ different locations.
